Advanced Electrical Drives introduction.
The Advanced Electrical Drives Library is designed to model the theory and applications from the books:
- Part I: Fundamentals of Electrical Drives, by Duco Pulle, Andre Veltman and Rik DeDoncker
- Part II: Advanced Electrical Drives, by Duco Pulle, Andre Veltman and Rik DeDoncker
The purpose of the Advanced Electrical Drives Library is to model electrical drives in detail when it comes to the control of electrical machines. It contians special blocks that allow a fast build up of a electrical machine model and its field oriented control.
In the following paragraphs you will find some basic information how to work with Caspoc and the Advanced Electrical Drives Library such as setting up a model, starting the simulation, printing results, overview of the library and its structure. From these paragraphes you will not learn how to apply the components in the Advanced Electrical Drives Library and how to create models and controls. For that you are recommended to get a copy of the two above mentioned books.
