The optimum hydro power curve is shown in scope1 and converted by the generator M/G into a DC grid of 600 volts.
The control is regulating the amount of torque produced by the turbine by means of the controlled drive/generator.
The power delivered to the DC grid is converted into an AC grid using an Active Front End [AFE]
